I want to record my terrible experience with Gil Stauffer in Madrid. I had booked the entire package: moving, unpacking, closet placement, and drilling. First, they charge for everything upfront to avoid problems later, which they know very well their lack of professionalism causes. You call to say you're having problems, and they take no responsibility for the situation. My move took three days; different people arrived every day who didn't know what to do or acted like they weren't supposed to put the boxes in for me. They showed complete disinterest in my belongings, and they kept complaining about how much work it was. Work I had paid for with the €8,000 cost of the move. They didn't even bother to check if a 4x3 meter painting needed to be lifted by crane, despite my warnings. Since they didn't hire one, the painting still hasn't arrived. They did everything so poorly that in the end, it was better to move the things myself. I'll never trust them again, and I hope no one ever does. It's the only thing left for me to do: protest through this medium. A devastating experience, and of course, broken dishes, lamps, etc., a mess.

I have no words to describe the chaos that was this move with this company, characterized by its rudeness and lack of professionalism. It would take me days to recount everything that happened, but suffice it to say that they didn't finish the move, and for 15 days we had to share the living room with about 40 unopened boxes and cardboard piled up on the terrace. A true nightmare. Every day they lied to us and belittled us. The manager, Ms. Estera, was disrespectful to me, as were the other employees. They have no shame. Think carefully and read the reviews of other victims before hiring them. I am 83 years old, and due to our profession, we have lived in 13 countries and carried out 18 moves, but I have never seen anything like this disaster. Think about it, do your research, so you don't suffer what I did.

The worst moving company ever. They're disorganized. Five men show up at first, and then three disappear. In the end, it's absolute chaos. They pack everything carelessly into boxes, all piled up with glassware mixed in with shoes. Many glasses, plates, and trays arrived smashed. Even if you have insurance, it doesn't matter; they always manage to wash their hands of it. I've moved three times in two years, and I can assure you they were all disasters, but this one takes the cake by a mile.
