The promise that sealed the decision, expressed by the manager, was clear: "We're a little expensive, but we're professionals." Note: The company demanded full payment before even starting the move. As a compromise, I agreed to pay half of the agreed-upon amount. When the scheduled date arrived at 8:30 a.m., they showed up. After completing the move, the following was found: • A broken window pane. • A damaged 40" Samsung TV. • A torn off cabinet door. • A broken lamp. I reported the damage immediately. The next day, the staff conducted an inspection: they overlooked the door and the lamp, promised to replace the glass in a few days, and hypothesized the TV would be repaired or replaced. I decided to subordinate the final payment to compensation for the damages. After a few days, I called to get news about the repair. The company's only response was to demand the remaining balance, without offering any update on the resolution of the claim. I deposited a portion of what was left, retaining a security deposit of €350. About ten days later, the company called offering to deliver a used TV as a replacement. When I requested a minimum security deposit, the manager inquired, only to later confirm that they could not offer any. At that point, the company THREATENED to take legal action if the balance was not paid immediately.
