At the end of August, we moved with Alba Moving, and the experience was very poor. The furniture protection was very poor, and the workers were careless when moving it. The result was several pieces of furniture with scratches or dents. When they give you the quote, they tell you that disassembly and reassembly of the furniture is included if necessary. In our case, to avoid disassembling an Ikea Pax piece of furniture (2.36 m high), when we tried to move it, it got stuck, causing several damages. Even so, they tried to move it through the terrace and through a window to avoid disassembling it, which we flatly refused to do. They finally disassembled it, but when it came to reassembling it, to avoid putting in all the nails at the bottom, the result was that it was practically loose. The bottom line is that they are in a hurry, without adequately protecting the furniture and without special care. Regarding the damage claim, the process was completely opaque. At first, after notifying them of the damage via email, we didn't hear back from them for over seven days, despite writing to them several times. Naturally, the lack of trust at that point was total. We finally managed to speak to them, and their response was that they were on vacation and hadn't been able to reply, and that they would contact the insurance company. We know absolutely nothing about the insurance company's process, not even which insurance company it was, nor did they ask us for a list of the affected furniture, or its specifications, nothing. After a few days, they simply told us they would refund us X amount of the moving cost. Naturally, given the situation, we didn't expect anything further, so we accepted the money and moved on, but the feeling was one of total mistrust.
